In 1924 a group of Greek Shopkeepers in Sydney decided to lease some floor space where they could meet during their leisure hours. These meetings led to the formation of a club which they named the Hellenic Club.
Primarily a sporting and businessmen’s club, the Hellenic Club was incorporated in 1926 with the intention of bringing future generations of Greek migrants together.
Now celebrating its 90th anniversary, the Hellenic Club welcomes Greeks and non-Greeks alike to enjoy Hellenic hospitality with a range of activities, community events and sponsorships.
